This charming vintage wedding is as elegant as it gets. The beautiful images captured by Robert Sail paint the picture of a day full of joy with plenty of personal touches. The couple decided that their big day was going to play out just as they imagined, starting with the designs of the dress and tie… We think it’s the perfect start to a happily ever after. Cue plenty of kisses and tears of joy.
The Couple
This cute couple got to know each other through a match making friend at Alexandra’s birthday party. Love blossomed and the wedding planning commenced in some serious style! They held their gorgeous wedding at the breathtaking Harlaxton Manor surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
The Dress
We are lost for words when it comes to this beauty of a dress; a timeless vintage style which is sophisticated and glam as can be. Just check out the amazing back! It was exactly the dress Alexandra had imagined as she designed it herself and had it made by Kula Tsurdiu, in Nottingham. For many a bride this is the ultimate dream come true. It isn’t every day that your vision for your wedding dress gets created especially for you!
The Venue
Alexandra and Mark tied the knot at Harlaxton Manor, near Grantham in Lincolnshire. Harlaxton Manor is a large estate with a beautiful fairytale facade, surrounded by stunning gardens on all sides. Clearly Alexandra and Mark thought through each and every detail, as from the pics we can completely see why they went with this amazing place.
The Moment
The whole day was incredibly emotional for this gorgeous couple, we can see that from the huge smiles on their faces – the pictures really do paint a thousand words! But the key moment for them was when they laid eyes on each other for the first time that day at the ceremony. Despite being surrounded by their most cherished friends and family, that fist glimpse was as though time stopped and no one else was around. An unforgettably special moment the two of them shared.
The Details
Alexandra and Mark created and styled much of the wedding details for day, which was captured beautifully in the photography. What we loved most were the pastel hues of the bridesmaids dresses that were perfectly complemented by the pink in Alexandra’s bouquet, which was just wow. To complete a truly stunning day full of class and lots of fun they boogied down to the Rosettes sister band.
