More and more couples are choosing to go all out on their big day. They are opting for a chic look, luxury products and increasingly romantic themes, and all of these qualities can be seen in this Styled Shoot, organised by Jessica Photography and GG Weddings & Events! Here you will be able to see just how you can implement and achieve effortless sophistication with the theme “Chic, Sunny and Pink” – because who doesn’t love to look good, feel good, and do all of it whilst wearing pink!
Now, we know that a lot of you reading this are thinking that your partner will never come around to a pink theme, but simply introduce them to this Styled Shoot and they won’t be able to resist! Pink wins out for weddings as it is usually always included in decorations, stationery and accessories – and so it is worth embracing, to give your wedding that little bit extra cohesion and energy, and ensure that your look is complete. It doesn’t have to be cliché or stereotypical either – just check out the photos for inspiration on how to have a classic wedding with a gorgeous rosy touch!
With a collaboration between Jessica Photography and GG Weddings & Events, we knew this Styled Shoot was going to be something special. Together they chose the popular Dutch wedding venue the Orangery Elswout in Overveen – which is only 20 minutes from the capital city of Amsterdam, for any of you considering the divine Dutch countryside for your Destination Wedding! Previously owned by one of the richest families in the Netherlands, this stunning country house is the perfect place for a chic, exclusive wedding ceremony.
The most important part of the bride’s look is, of course, her wedding dress. For an astutely talented designer, you cannot go wrong with Bloomfeld Luxury Bridal. For this shoot, the model wore a beautiful gown from Berta Bridal, which was perfectly matched to a pair of ostentatious Jimmy Choo heels. The dress highlights the brides’ curves, with sensational fabrics and delicate lace detailing. Marianne, from the Beautiful Bride Company took care of hair and makeup for the day – the soft colour palette accentuates the model’s natural beauty, creating a romantic, understated look.
The male model posing as the groom for the day looked similarly dashing. Donning a Michael & Giso Weddings suit in a soft red colour, he embraced the pink theme, whilst still maintaining a sense of traditional masculinity. More and more grooms nowadays are choosing coloured suits for their weddings, instead of the atypical blue and black – and we have to say, we love it!
One of the most popular wedding trends at the moment is using pampas grass – and this shoot certainly shows that this is not only entirely appropriate for a boho or vintage themed-wedding, but also for more “upscale” ceremonies. The floral suppliers here even managed to source special pink pampas grass especially for the shoot!
The flowers for this shoot were provided by Elvira, from Bloemenkeuken. From the beautiful floral centrepieces to the bridal bouquet – the flowers give a luxurious look, and are really quite something to look at! The styling of this shoot was done by the wedding planner GG Weddings & Events – and we can say, hands on our hearts, that all the elements, including the candles (provided by the wonderful 52wks), came together beautifully.
If you choose a theme for your wedding, then you can really go to town with it, and try and include it in all aspects of your big day. This is an element that this Styled Shoot really wanted to emphasise – the pink velvet ring box from Happy Boxes Shop definitely contributes to this! The wedding rings, provided by Marcel Vermeulen, look great as well in their exquisite little box.
The invitations from Pen to Paper also perfectly match the theme. On the invitations, you can even see a drawing of the wedding location and the rings! If you use your theme in a variety of different ways, then this creates a beautiful unified appearance, without ever becoming overbearing – not to mention looking incredible for the photographs!
Nowadays, it is more common than not that people will personalise their wedding vows. But how do you go about memorising such an important speech? You can’t just whip out your phone or a notebook for reference. Such beautiful and special words deserve a place forever: choose to write them down in a beautiful book by Elmo Paper Stories (and make sure that the book fits your theme!)
A luxury wedding on a sunny day with a pink wedding theme almost demands pink champagne from the sweetest, and most exclusive brand. The Champagne Baron has created champagne for this occasion, and we have to say that it goes brilliantly well with the delicious pastel wedding cake, provided by Gebakkerij.
