Paris is not only the city of love, but a city famed for being one step ahead in the fashion industry. This is what made Paris the perfect location for this styled shoot – boudoir weddings are the next big trend! The origin of the concept of boudoir is, clearly, French, and has its roots in the 19th century, where it referred to a room in which women could wash and get dressed. In the 20th century, it became more popular for women to be photographed within this room, and for the images to be developed as gifts for their husbands-to-be on their wedding day. This styled shoot was organised by Dutch wedding planner Lisanne, of Your Weddingplannerwho also have a great international team. The lingerie on show is beautiful, classy, and very sexy – have a look below!

“After a successful meeting between myself and Jessica, of Jessica Photography, we quickly agreed to organise a boudoir wedding shoot together. Jessica came up with the idea of doing it in Paris, and I didn’t have to think twice about agreeing!

Together we made a list of international wedding providers with whom we’d like to execute this plan. Within a few weeks we had established a great team, who all shared our enthusiasm for making this shoot a dream come true…

With two beautiful models alongside us, we left for Paris. We started the day shooting in a traditional Parisian apartment building, which was our Boudoir location. After this, we continued the photo shoot at Le Pavillon Dauphine, and then finished the day at the beautiful Pont de Alexander III.

It was a great experience organising this international styled shoot, and we are so pleased to be able to share this with you. I enjoyed every moment of this special day, surrounded by a high-end team of strong, empowered women! It was great to be able to work with such talented people,” Lisanne from Your Weddingplanner told us.

The beautiful models you can see in the shoot are Pauline Goli and Pip van de Sande (the former is blonde, and the latter brunette). The hair and makeup of both models was done by The Bridal Artist Urmilla Singh, a talented MUA and hairstylist from the Netherlands. She ensured the models looked gorgeous throughout the entire day. The bridal dresses as seen in this photo shoot emanate from the Bloomfeld Luxury Bridal company in the Netherlands. In this exclusive bridal boutique, you can find the most eminent brands, such as the Daalarna Couture dresses pictured below. The shoes worn by the model can be found at Bella Belle – where you are sure to find the perfect pair of shoes for your wedding!

The lingerie worn by the models is sexy, but also incredibly elegant. Pauline’s lingerie is from La Maison Nouvelle, and the lingerie worn by Pip is from Chptr-S. Both brands are a great option for lingerie shopping – whether it is for your wedding, or for your own boudoir night shoot! The jewellery and kimono have been provided by the Netherlands-based bridal web-only company Say Yes To The Dress, where you can find anything that you want to complete your bridal look!
