Monique from French Wedding Style says: ”I was looking to create and style a shoot that showcased the beauty of the Provencal area as a destination for weddings. Our shoot was set at the breathtaking Chateau Belfonds near Grignan in Provence, nestled amongst ancient olive farms with mountain peaks as a backdrop. The light in Provence is quite unique, bathing a warm glow across the whole of the wedding celebrations, we wanted to capture this wherever possible.”
In a traditional French wedding there are often two parts, the civil ceremony and then the wedding celebrations, so why not have two bridal ensembles! The charming civil ceremony showcased the two-piece bridal outfit similar to Olivia Polermo, combining a low-waisted skirt by French designer Laure de Sagazan paired with a stomach skimming high street fashion piece.
A rose gold Truvelle wedding dress took centre stage fatthe wedding celebrations amongst the olive groves, which billowed in the Provencal breeze. From the enchanting stationery by Nice Plume to the ‘to-die-for’ dessert bar from Chef A Domicile – that dessert bar will make you need a croquembouche in your life.
