A period scenario, in which time seems to stand still, the Puglia of olive trees, the shades of greens that blend with the colors of the barren earth and the sky on the longest day of the year, that of the summer solstice and a historic dwelling, typical of the Valle d’Itria: a skilfully restored farm, among the trulli with their unique architectural features in the world.
In this enchantment, a feminine, typically Mediterranean beauty and a Nordic beauty come together that decide to crown their dream of love among the flavors of a land that has something unique, magical: timeless.
This is the atmosphere of the wedding of Graziana and Vincent who have chosen to walk the road to the Great Promise, in the Masseria Luco, an ancient farmhouse among the Trulli, a few steps from the city of Martina Franca and Alberobello, among period furnishings inside and outside the white walls of the masseria, lights that know how to celebrate the country “as it once was” and vibrant sunsets.
The scenery is vintage, as is the choice of the bride’s dress, a mermaid model of ivory lace that combines a retro fabric with a more sinuous and modern model, to enhance the shapes of the beautiful bride with long dark hair, kissed by threads of Sun…
Hair gathered in a soft “up do” for the ceremony that turns into a sophisticated but casual ponytail for the reception, to become a flowing head, in full motion to satisfy the fun of the evening party. These hairstyles are made by Michela Roberti Spose, in order to combine the current trends with Graziana’s tastes on her special day.
The floral choice perfectly combines with the Pantone trends of summer 2019 and falls on vitamin colors: Roses and Peonies Pink Peachok and Sweet Pea Living Coral, sweetened by the softer Sweet Liliac and perfectly mixed with eucalyptus Pantone Terrarium Moss.
The antique golds of the table from the grandmother’s porcelain and vintage taste are cleverly combined with Grottaglie’s ceramic vases against the background of the Yes and the wicker of the baskets that the church houses on its steps.
The wedding cake, a three-story naked cake decorated with fresh flowers and olive leaves, arrives directly in a vintage carriage and the cutting of the cake, already enhanced by an unusual context, brings with it the beauty of a breathtaking scenery: that of the Valle d’Itria which faces towards the first evening of summer.
