Located in the southernmost region of Italy, the province of Puglia is one of the most beautiful in the entire country – and a Destination Wedding venue that most couples can only dream of. Kirsty and Troy, however, made it a reality for their big day, and in true Italian style, enjoyed a spectacular wedding. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, and with a picturesque blue sky overhead, their wedding day could have been taken directly out of a Hollywood film. Their venue – the Castello Monaci – is as the name suggests a large castle, replete with charm and character, and the perfect backdrop for such a romantic day. And their wonderful wedding photos were taken by Emma at Emma-Jane Photography, a remarkably talented photographer who would be perfect for your UK or Destination Wedding!

Kirsty stunned in her fit and flare Sassi Holford gown – one of our favourite British designers here at Zankyou! – and complemented the gown with a delicate veil that extended behind her as she walked towards the altar. With flowers elegantly entwined in her hair, Kirsty was every inch the perfect bride for her Italian wedding, and Troy looked very dashing in his Hugo Boss suit. Following the ceremony, they had a series of photos in different locations surrounding their magical venue, which not only showed off how wonderful they looked as newlyweds, but also the abilities of their photographer Emma.

With a magnificent four-layer wedding cake and their closest family and friends alongside them, Kirsty and Troy had a lovely reception evening at the Castello Monaci – with plenty of dancing! Their big day show that whilst having your wedding abroad can be a far more complicated and complex process, it is definitely worth the time and effort. We wish this couple all the very best for the rest of their lives together – have a closer look at the photos now!
