Grand Hotel Portovenere is a boutique hotel set in a historic building, located on the most panoramic point of Portovenere in the Gulf of Poets, on the Italian Riviera. Everything about the structure of this beautiful venue oozes history and culture.

The Palmaria Restaurant is based in a spectacular veranda overlooking Portovenere. You’ll find yourself inside a sort of contemporary sailing ship that is about to sail towards the horizon: the nautical-style wood flooring recalls the ancient technique of caulking, (in other words, the waterproofing of the hulls of boats by the  master caulkers of the Gulf of Poets). The cushions, made by a local upholsterer, are yellow, pink and green just like the colours of the houses in the village of Portovenere.
