Amongst the stunning backdrop of Wasing Park in Berskhire, Caroline and Geoff made their vows to one another, with the beauty and sheer joy of their big day captured on camera by the fantastically-talented Barney Walters Photography. Embracing the nature around them, and incorporating it into their wedding – for example, in their rustic, hand-crafted wedding cake adorned with an assortment of flowers – the couple created an authentic, rustic theme which remained present through the whole day.
Donning a sensual, flowing gown with beaded-leaf detailing and a light, subtlely embroidered skirt, Caroline’s outfit paired perfectly with the setting of her and Geoff’s wedding, but never once did she move out of the spotlight – drawing the eye, and holding the attention of every guest in attendance with her radiant appearance. The vibrant colour scheme so expertly expressed by the florist was mirrored in the plum dresses worn by the bridesmaids, and Geoff was also looking sharp in an all-blue ensemble, complete with a fitted waistcoat.
The decorations for the day were rustic, and full of character. The seating at the outside ceremony was simple, intertwined with bursts of colour against white features, and at the ceremony, the guests had access to a makeshift photobooth inside a renovated tuk tuk (a prominent form of transportation in South East Asia), and enjoyed drinks at “Geoff’s Bar“, specially decorated with vintage beers and placards for the day. Geoff and Caroline managed to balance two themes perfectly – the natural world, with a bohemian flair.
Their emotive wedding day ended with the three best ingredients – drinking, dancing, and fireworks. With live music playing all night in their marquee, Caroline and Geoff were able to celebrate the success of their big day surrounded by their closest family and friends, who were all quick to toast the happy couple, and wish them a lifetime of happiness together. We at Zankyou echo that sentiment – congratulations Caroline and Geoff!
