Dubai hosted the 9th Edition of Exotic Wedding Planning Conference

The 9th Edition of the Exotic Wedding Planning Conference, one of the largest of series of wedding planning conferences worldwide, took place in Dubai on the 1st and 2nd of March 2022.

Co-hosted by Dubai Bussiness Events,  the event focused on the rapidly evolving ways on the world of weddings, featuring critical discussions on reinventing to remain resilient, building a stronger business and the science of event production and storytelling.

Dubai was also highlighted as a destination wedding on the opening keynote presented by Issam Abdulrahim Kazim, CEO, Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Corporate Marketing.

The summit also featured presentations by leading global industry experts such as Walid Baz, CEO, Baz Events, Eddie Zaratsian, Eddie Zaratsian Lifestyle and Design, Bhavnesh Sawhney, Founder, FB Celebrations, Mahesh Shirodkar, Managing Director, and many more.

Other sessions at the conference included talks and panel discussions on the importance of experience over exuberance, pioneering a new dawn in the wedding planning industry, the celebration of the alchemy of colours in the events, building a stronger bussiness, the importance of the couple values reflected on their wedding, and the science of event planning and storytelling.

This two-day conference gave the Wedding Planner’s the opportunity to identify new prospects, create new connections and celebrate the industry’s spirit of resilience, with over 200 delegates from 50 countries in attendance and an extensive agenda with over 20 industry speakers and numerous networking sessions.

Day one ended with Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hosting an evening cocktail reception. Day two came to a conclusion with the APEX Awards, held at JA The Resort, honouring the outstanding achievements in the industry.

During two vibrant days. the excellent line-up of speakers provided insights, strategies and practical methods to maintain resilience in an ever-changing environment.
