"The Special Ingredient: A Smile" - Roberta and Luca's Wedding

Everything starts with a smile. The first time your partner smiled at you you realised they were the one. That simple human reaction; the extending lips, the closing eyes, the teeth that start to appear, they all make you realise that you want to spend the rest of your life alongside this special someone. And when you both look into each other’s eyes and smile for the first time, you ignite a long-lasting connection, which we believe is the secret ingredient for a happy, successful relationship.

Roberta and Luca have shared their wedding story exclusively with us here at Zankyou, and have included their magical photo collection, taken by one of the best wedding photographers: Mauro Silvestre.

The Preparation

Luca and Roberta are the personification of happiness; close-knit, beautiful, and most importantly, happy. Their smiles, as we will see, are an important part of their romantic story.

Luca, in full uniform, is one of the most elegant grooms we’ve seen, and Roberta is the quintessential bride: tall, elegant and with an amazing figure. Her bridal look is truly emblematic of the new generation: a flowing sophisticated dress with a wide skirt, natural makeup, loose hair and a beautiful bouquet of peonies. Nothing’s missing… she is ready to head to the church!

The Ceremony

Luca and Roberta’s religious ceremony is simply breathtaking: the bride and groom enter under the watchful eye of Luca’s colleagues in uniform. Elegance and splendor combined with pure emotion: tears, smiles, hugs. Luca and Roberta are finally a pair, ready to start a new life as a married couple.

The Reception and Photography

After their guests have thrown the congratulated the newlyweds with the throwing of confetti, the newlyweds take a moment to pose for photos so that they can remember this day forever. Creativity and professionalism blend together to characterise the work of Mauro Silvestre. A little classic and somewhat contemporary, halfway between heaven and earth: Mauro Silvestre knows how to tell love stories through images like no one else. And he can capture the smile of the even the most unphotogenic couples, because in front of Mauro’s lens couples can’t help but be themselves!

In the picturesque setting of Villa Aragonese, carved in rock down on the beach, the coming together of Luca and Roberta was celebrated. Their special day unleashed never-before-seen dance moves and good food – everything, of course, in the style of elegance.
