The wedding photography service must be carried out with spontaneity and naturalness, and it must convey the complicity of the couple. All of this, however, is achieved only thanks to the skill of the photographer, who manages to fully connect with the bride and groom, treating them as friends and encouraging them to trust him and his team. In Milan, you can find Giuliano Lo Re Photography, run by Giuliano and Francesca, professional photographers and partners in life. They are the ideal solution if you want a photographic service that tells the authentic side of your wedding and is able to capture the emotions, moments and situations that may be missed by others. Their ability to remain invisible, however, does not prevent them from fully experiencing the emotions, immersing themselves up to their necks and being part of the celebration.

A wedding told with spontaneity and naturalness

Entrusting your wedding service to Giuliano Lo Re Photography means entrusting the art of Francesca and Giuliano, two discreet photographers who hate posing and artificially constructed moments.

Here are the words of Giuliano, explaining how and why his passion for this work was born:

As a child, I was enchanted by my father’s slides taken in Kenya and spent hours watching National Geographic documentaries. The options were two: become a photographer or an explorer. When I received my first camera in adolescence, I realized that, maybe, I would have become Indiana Jones in another life. My passion for travel turned into the work of a photojournalist, and I still work for Doctors Without Borders, as well as carrying out personal projects around the world (especially in Asia). I started photographing weddings by chance in Switzerland (I used to live there), and from the beginning, I realized that telling a wedding through photography is not so far from telling the story of a person on the other side of the world. In any case, I feel the need to tell the authenticity of what happens in front of me, to tell the emotions of the people who share a moment and a part of their life with me. Fully immersing myself in the mood of the celebration, being a part of it, and being a guest rather than just a photographer, allows me to do it in the most authentic and natural way possible.

The style used by this Milanese couple of photographers is that of reportage, precisely because they love to tell the story of a life enclosed in 12 hours.

Francesca and Giuliano manage to make the bride and groom feel at ease, in order to capture their true essence, their character, their complicity and the love that binds them, in order to obtain an authentic account.

Giuliano and Francesca are so skilled at blending in with the guests that they remember perfectly the anecdotes that occur during the ceremonies, like these ones that Giuliano recounts:

Certainly, one of the funniest anecdotes was the two and a half hour delay of the priest during a wedding in 2022. The bride was mortified and my goal was to try not to turn her into a serial killer. Another anecdote was a photo shoot with a couple of brides who wanted to take photos inside a McDonald’s. The faces of the people sitting and eating when they saw two brides walk in, and the face of the cashier as they ordered a Big Mac, was indescribable.
