Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding this weekend made everyone put a hold on their lives for a second. But we were not only looking at the bride and groom, the guests blew us all away as well. Hours before the bride and groom entered, the guests were arriving one by one and we were able to check in detail the looks of Hollywood stars, socialites and members of royalty. Sofia Wellesley
Sofia Wellesley, wife of James Blunt, chose a Valentino midi dress with floral prints embroidered under a cream base, with short sleeves and a Peter Pan neckline. The final touch, which made the look even more beautiful, was the delicate cream headpiece.
Amal and George Clooney
At the top of our list is Amal Clooney. The human rights lawyer chose a breathtaking mustard yellow dress signed by British designer Stella McCartney – also responsible for the second dress used by Meghan to welcome guests during the party. The dress code for this type of event requires women to wear hair accessories, and she pulled it off perfectly.
George Clooney in fact broke the protocol a little, opting for a light grey suits rather than the desired dark coloured suit.
Lady Kitty Spencer
Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, was another guest who caught our attention with her green floral dress by Dolce & Gabanna. A green headpiece, orange shoes and a discreet necklace finished this amazing look perfectly.
The Beckhams
Victoria Beckham opted for a look of her own brand and, just like at William and Kate’s wedding, chose a dark blue dress, standing out among the majority of the guests who wore lighter shades and floral. David Beckham wore a full suit, as expected.
Doria Ragland
Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, stayed true to her style and attended her daughter’s wedding with nose pierced and a cute mint green look from the American brand Oscar de la Renta.
Serena Williams
The tennis player, accompanied by her husband Alexis Ohanian, attended the royal wedding wearing a light pink Versace dress, the same colour chosen by American presenter Oprah Winfrey. So those are our favourites, what are yours?
