Every season, every year we view a selection of internationally designed wedding dresses, and although the Scandinavian culture favoured black beauty dresses and the French who once deemed white as a mourning colour, what about pink!?

White is an absolute winner every time, but you want that unforgettable memorable day, right? All eyes are on the bride all day, so sporting a different colour to the ever famous white would be sure to draw the attention. There are many colours to choose from, to compliment your day, your make up, theme, colour scheme and of course the first and most romantic colour that comes to mind is a precious pink. Especially for 2016, the fabulously famous designers are really taking on board thinking outside of the box and taking advantage of incorporating the pale pink palette.

Designer, Air Barcelona created two beautiful designs for 2016 also utlising the pretty shade pink, coupled with a sweetheart neckline. The first is a dress made of organza, lace and rhinestones, ruching at the bust and decorated with an eye catching belt to emphasize the bride’s figure, a perfect wedding dress for tall women. The second, a very similar design with details of fine lace combined with rhinestones and a beautiful flower motif stitched onto a sash.

Here we feature contrasting designs yet still incorporating the pastel pink trend. Designs created by Cabotine and Justin Alexander, Cabotine presented at the Barcelona Bridal Week with sensual sweetheart necklines and rhinestone waist detail, from which emerges a skirt with an unexpected opening exposing the bride’s leg, a bold and super feminine look. As for the second, another princess cut dress with voluminous skirt made from lots of thin layers of tulle topped with crystal beads.

More of this style, from designer such as Monique Lhuillier, marking the waist to perfection, giving prominence to the top with spectacular embroidery and beading.

Whilst concentrating on certain brands and designers we can’t help but mention Jenny Packham, Cymbeline and Houghton. Three completely different styles for three different types of brides, from colours, styles to themes.. such as this striking dress trimmed with feathers on the bust. Another, simple and elegant, with a deeper coloured belt for superb contrast and then mixing an alternative tone with the veil, lastly presenting a boho chic design, a hippie touch for a casual bride.
