When it comes to bridal looks, there are hundreds of styles to choose from. All brides-to-be enjoy flicking through bridal magazines and inspiring themselves with certain trends and celebrity bridal looks. Like everything else, years go by and trends in bridal wear change, but the are certain styles and eras that never go out of fashion.

This is exactly the case with the wonderful era of the 1950’s. The decade when style icons Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy got married and set incredible trends for future brides. For this magnificent reason, we’ve decided to create a gallery of inspiring dresses and accessories inspired by this era that are still perfect for today’s modern bride.

Princess cut bridal gowns, fitted waists, voluminous skirts and dresses of all lengths: long, short and midi. A variety of necklines from sweetheart and illusion combined with delicate French lace and off the shoulder, all trends of the era. Accessories were a big thing in the 50’s too. Net hairpieces which are so elegant, synonymous with a pin-up style, short and simple veils, delicate jewellery and a variety of stylish shoes.

If you’re looking for a classic 1950’s style inspired by some of the world’s most beautiful brides then our gallery is just for you.
