As 2016 nears a close, the bridal industry are already anticipating the 2017 London Bridal Show, an event that will kick-start the international bridal show season from March onwards.
It’s the event of the year for every designer, every manufacturer, and every buyer. With over 100 exhibitors and 200 collections, the whole wedding world comes together under one roof to showcase and celebrate exquisite designs and diverse collections.
Every year The London Bridal Show becomes a glistening window into the world of future trends and leading designers: it showcases the best of the best. It’s a bustling hub for all things bridal, from top-end designer dresses, to accessories or menswear.
This year we are particularly looking forward to the wonders that Essence Designs can do with lace, some beautifully elegant mermaid cuts by Justin Alexander, a selection of voluminous skirts from Casablanca Bridal and authentic petticoat-style layered skirts from Lillian West.

Throughout the weekend, attendees of this renowned bridal event will be able to see runways exhibiting some of the best international collections for 2017. The show will provide a vibrant stage for influential names such as Cosmobella, Alfred Angelo, Demetrios, Kenneth Winston, Martina Liana and Sweet Darlings, so this will be a perfect way for buyers to select the trends they want to stock for their brides-to-be.
With the best of the industry all under one roof, The London Bridal Show is a crucial event in the evolving year of bridal fashion.
However, The London Bridal Show is more than just a buying and networking event, it is an exchange of ideas and inspiration. As well as runways and exhibitions, industry experts will be giving a series of seminars for retailers, manufacturers and designers alike to discuss more about the bridal market. Topics will include: the power of social media, the art of display, legal advice and sales tips.
But that’s not the only extra feature to this world-class event. Weddings are about celebration, laughter and enjoyment, so it’s only right that The London Bridal Show is the same. Complimentary refreshments are available throughout the 3-day event from the Champagne Bar, and bridal buyers and overseas buyers will enjoy exclusive use of business and VIP lounges.
To finish this globally anticipated event, some of the biggest names in the bridal world will gather for a night of glamour and entertainment at the Kensington Roof Gardens for the RBA Awards Ceremony. These awards celebrate those at the pinnacle of bridal fashion, and are eagerly awaited by suppliers and designers alike.
