We’ve seen the fabulous catwalks by Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta, with the first collection by Petter Copping heading up the Oscar de la Renta brand since the designer’s death last year. Making huge fashion statements, Carolina Herrera has opted for an elegant bride with a sophisticated touch, showing gowns with strapless necklines, illusion necklines and beautiful lace and tulle. Carolina Herrera also made a bold statement with brides in trousers, perfect for a civil or less formal ceremony. Petter Copping has shown his designs for all types of brides. Volume, exaggeration and baroque elements, very much the same as Marchesa or Naeem Khan, that have also shown designs that are a lot more sober, discreet and simple to complete their beautiful collections.

Amongst others, we should also mention Vera Wang that presented provocative and sensual designs with transparencies, openings and plunging necklines. In complete contrast to these were the dreamy designs by Jenny Packham and Monique Lhuillier.

We’ve put together this gallery with some of our favourite designs and styles, because variety is definitely the spice when it comes to life and bridal wear. Could you future bridal gown be right here?
