Vera Wang's Spring Summer ready to wear collection 2016 New York Fashion Week Catwalk

As seen in previous collections, Vera Wang again explores the theme of “duality” as she did in her bridal collection. Stark blacks and whites dominated the collection, but the monochrome palette was softened with cool, flowy fabrics like tulle and silk and with metallic and crystal embellishments, even feathers.

The catwalk began with a sensual outfit of shorts, bra and a black overcoat. Pleated skirts, reminiscent of uniforms followed and were paired with sporty bras, then followed similar masculine feminine pairings of tuxedo trousers and bras tops.
