The designer Naeem Khan’s spring-summer 2016 collection are up to the most famous bridges in the world of fashion and that is why we presented the designs in New York Fashion Week where the collection managed to woo the guests of this great event.
The collection, mostly characterized by embroidery and floral prints with a high profile to the bright colours like red, yellow, orange and different shades of pink, which are very fashionable for next season also included slides that make the colours blue, green and purple increasingly more trendy. They offer hues that reflect the colour of the Mediterranean water and the movement commemorates the rhythm of the waves.
The designs presented on this occasion refer to the golden age of Hollywood outfits, like dresses in the 50s and 60s Jet Set by stars such as Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren and Jackie Kennedy and accessories including big earrings and headscarves.
Khan was inspired by the gardens of southern France and the waters of Italy to create a perfect collection for the big stars of cinema and show while they go on vacation to exotic and glamorous places like Monaco, to wear costumes with long coats, sleeves, necklines and sweetheart necklines.
The voluminous and princess skirts and dresses cut with tail are some of the best examples of the collection that will surely see an actress for the awards season next year wearing. Furthermore, as has been shown more than once, Khan has a talent for combining prints, transparencies and many sequined outfits that are ideal for the most chic guest dresses.
The best of the collection are undoubtedly embroidery details on what might be some of the most beautiful dresses of the fashion week. Do not miss a second of this fantastic collection!
