Although we may get caught up in the excitement of the fact that we’re getting married (!!), it’s important to remember that hosting a wedding is never going to be an easy ride, no matter how good your wedding planner is.
And even though it’s a day of celebration with your nearest and dearest, you still need to make sure that everything is organised (well, everything that can be organised), so that your day runs smoothly from start to finish. You don’t want your photographer to catch any grumpy faces on camera!

Since his childhood Silvestre says he’s been driven by his love for images, but as he has matured so has his eye. Over the years he has specialised in post-production and photography meaning that his passion has grown from a small passion to a profession that he is lucky enough to let dictates his life. Mauro has that personal touch about him, meaning that it’s easy to establish an intimate relationship. And when you feel comfortable around your photographer, it’s easy to express what you really want. So, once you know how each other works, Mauro can then create an album perfect for you. But, of course, he will not do it alone; your help is necessary along the way so that you both are happy with the end result.
Although he won’t be present in your photographs (of course unless you want him to be!), his touch will be there through his photography. His skill is so unique and so personal that in every photo you’ll be able to tell that his eyes are behind the lens.
Mauro’s approach is “simple”, he says. He focuses on “emotions and details”, and will never shy away from “alternating between new story shots and more intimate photographs”. He enjoys highlighting the emotion of the day through his post-production, which is something that sets him aside from the rest. For Mauro, capturing candid shots is a work of art, and his art, as we can see from his amazing portfolio, always oozes love and emotion. On the other hand, Mauro believes that although posed-for photos “appear beautiful”, they are “highly depersonalised”, which is definitely not something we want for the happiest day of our lives. Weddings are about raw emotion, and Mauro can definitely capture them so the memories with never die.
