In a photo shoot featuring Capanna Suites, we asked our respectable client some questions about the location and the shooting itself, in order to give an insight into this romantic, authentic, Italian destination!
Location
Capanna Suites was originally founded by the Cencioni family, who had this idea of creating a luxury farmhouse in the most beautiful countryside, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Their vision was to entice the public with their fine wine, introducing a blend of rurality and comfort. Guests can enjoy the many aspects this farmhouse has to offer, such as its authentic Tuscan style, the gourmet restaurant, and the spa. Opened to the public in 2019, the location welcomes all types of guests but specifically attracts wine lovers and admirers of the countryside.
Capanna Suites takes great pride in its gourmet restaurant – Il Passaggio by Capanna, which many consider the jewel of the location. The chef and his entire team ensure to offer an unforgettable experience to the guests, producing culinary masterpieces before their very eyes. Additionally, there are many beautiful spaces that you can use for your perfect event, such as the infinity pool that overlooks the valley of Montalcino, the meadows, the flower gardens, the olive grove and the vegetable garden. And for a bit of added luxury, you have a sauna, hydromassage pool, and a Turkish bath.
Now to go into some more specific details, for those interested… The restaurant accommodates up to 30 people, whereas outside you can have a bigger wedding. There are 9 double rooms, 2 studios, and a total of 25 beds available. Finally, for their spring offer, a 10% discount for those who book at our location by the end of May. All in all, having your wedding in the hills of the Sienese countryside, overlooking the stunning Montalcino setting, with an exquisite restaurant and Brunello di Montalcino wine available, will really feel like a dream come true.

Quoting from the creator of this beautiful photo shoot, Elena Cecconi – “I was fascinated by the magical atmosphere of Capanna Suites, which combines the style of the traditional Tuscan countryside with the refined and elegant quality of a place designed for an exclusive stay. And thus was born the idea of a photo session immersed in all its wonder.”
The aim was to highlight the contrast between elegance and rurality, which appears so vividly in the nature of this location. A contemporary attitude added to the fresh open air of the rural Tuscan countryside, hence the theme: “when rustic blends with luxury“.
The day of the photoshoot was full of intense work but was also very productive. There was certainly an atmosphere of harmony and fun, where everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The photographer recommends this style for those who want to have a luxury wedding in a relaxing setting; surrounded by the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside, away from the chaos of the city.
