Villa Piceni was one of the first Grand Hotels of Lake Maggiore (historically known for the Gran Tour) for foreign tourists. Then it was the home of the Piceni-Martelli family until 2018, when the descendants of the family renovated it and restored it to its original function: the organisation of prestigious events.

The inner courtyard is arranged to be covered with a tensile structure so that you can use the outdoor spaces even in bad weather, so you have an excellent plan B in case of rain!
Moreover, just three hundred metres from the garden of Villa Piceni, on an enchanting promontory, is a delightful 12th century Romanesque church, whose frescoes by Luini’s school make it very popular for religious wedding ceremonies. However, the civil ceremonies in the Villa and the symbolic ceremonies on the terrace overlooking the lake are also very impressive – and therefore very popular. Various rooms are available for the bride and groom and their guests, so that up to 40 guests can stay at the Villa. These important little additions are what make Villa Piceni a perfect location for couples that wish to extend their wedding celebrations beyond the wedding day.
