Meet Louise and Ayush. He’s a GP, she’s a GP. As were all of the groo’s family and friends. Safe in the knowledge that yes, there definitely was a doctor in the house, the gorgeous pair said their “I dos” at the rather splendid hotel The Elvetham in Hampshire.
The Uni-sweethearts finally made it official at The Elvetham. Picking the venue because it allowed them to have exclusive use for the whole day meaning they could have the two ceremonies reflecting their different cultures on the same day.
“We were impressed by the grounds and that we could hold our wedding outside. Also we liked the idea of all the guests staying the night in the hotel and having breakfast together in the morning, it was like a big house party.” The staff at the hotel were outstanding and so supportive right from our first visit during the planning process and also on the day. The fact the staff and venue were so welcoming and accommodating was one of the reasons they chose the venue.
For the first ceremony, Louise said yes to a stunning Watters dress from Morgan Davies Bridal store in Angel, London. And wow did she rock it! She looked absolutely beautiful, and there wasn’t a hair out of place thanks to the hair and makeup taken care of by Teresa Jolly.
With the groom’s three best men looking especially suave all suited and booted, and the bride’s lovely Irish family having travelled over, the day was just beautiful! With everything, and everyone looking gorgeous, the couple had a stroke of good old English weather and the sun shone all day for both ceremonies! For the second, Louise and Ayush were accompanied by amazing Bangra drumming, from Drummers Delight and it added a wonderful final touch!
The couple truly did have an amazing day and loved every part of it! “It’s difficult to pick a particular highlight, but it was probably saying our vows with all of our friends and family there especially as some of them had come from India and Ireland to be with us that day”
