One of the reasons we love our Real Wedding stories is because we get to see snapshots of the beginning of a beautiful fairy-tale and the wonderful photos from Tania and Domenico’s big day is no different. A wonderful marriage creates many memorable moments that live long in the memory, but maybe not more so than your wedding day. It is the moment that many dream about their whole lives and never fails to disappoint. Here are the unique pictures that show just how special this day was for Tania and Domenico.
The Preparation
Tania is naturally a dreamer, who had been hoping she would have her dream wedding, but after 15 years of engagement even she was starting to lose to hope. Domenico is a guy-next-door type, not a bad bone in him. Someone who you can trust from the moment you meet them. After 15 years the time had come for these two kindred spirits to celebrate their love and form an unbreakable union.
The Ceremony
Ironically after 15 years of waiting, the whole ceremony was organised in just 8 months! A splendid religious ceremony set the theme for the big day. Tania and Domenico invited their extended friends and family to make sure no one missed out the celebration. It is safe to say that it was worth the wait.
The Reception
The reception was spectacular! No detail was left untouched, everything had been thought of. There were many little heartfelt gifts for the guests, delicate arrangements of flowers and lots of themed decorations making it feel like a mini festival, with fairy-lights, photobooths and even little tattoo kits for the children. Tania and Domenico made sure that their guests left the night eulogising about the whole spectacle!
The hardest part about organising a wedding is capturing the very essence of the couple. The ceremony and the reception has to match couple in a way that is personal to them. If this is not done, the whole day can feel impersonal and almost forced. However, Tania and Domenico negated all these problems and organised a truly personal and memorable day for all involved.
