Marcus and Preston chose to marry in the quaint, scenic town of Èze in the South of France. Mere miles from gorgeous Nice, this intimate location was the perfect place to both complement the intimacy of their relationship, but also juxtapose the bold and characterful style of their wedding day. Indeed, if the setting of their big day was more akin to a watercolour painting, then their ceremony and reception was pop art! Bursting with colour, glitter and plenty of fabulous accompaniments, Marcus and Preston’s wedding was a masterclass in how to make your wedding your own.

Choosing to extend their stay in Èze beyond just the day of their wedding, Marcus and Preston enjoyed some time together in the day before their ceremony – to take in the beautiful views, and to work on the vows they would make to one another the next day. And when the ceremony actually came, it was an incredible feat. Donning matching suits in pastel pink and blue, with nouveau black lapels and neckties, this pair looked spectacular together. We particularly loved the sparkly dress shoes for an extra touch of glam! Surrounded by their closest family and friends – and some lovely florals too! – Marcus and Preston exchanged “I do”s before moving on to a very fun reception.

The decoration at their reception meal and party was incredibly classic, with a white, pastel and nude palette applied to the table decor, flowers and stationery. However, some aspects were far from traditional! With a fantastic wedding cake that was set alight, to the arrival of an incredibly well-dressed Drag Queen, Marcus and Preston truly made their reception theirs – and we think it’s brilliant. Moving away from the stereotypical wedding receptions that we see every day, this was something a little different, with a little more character. Take heed for your own wedding!
