As we all know, wedding fashion trends don’t just apply to the bride’s dress. There are also trends for grooms, groomsmen, bridesmaids and even children! If you’re part of the bridal party, it’s of course super important that you are also looking almost (being the key word) as fab as the bride and groom! Top wedding planners Label’ Emotion are here to save the day and give us their top looks.
For bridesmaids, it’s all about breaking those traditions and we’re seeing loads of designers opting for more modern and fashion forward designs, the sense of fun and glamour is a fab theme for this Spring and Summer! We’re also loving a two-piece bridesmaid look: it may be a more unconventional choice, but if you dare, it can also be the perfect one!
Sequins and metallic looks are always a showstopper! It’s also an excellent way to add a bit of glam to the bridesmaids’ outfits! With so many different designs and options, from solid sequins to detailed sequin patterns, we are planning some serious outfit changes.
Mixing and matching different styles of bridesmaids’ dresses is also becoming a hot trend but there are still rules; to avoid a clash, make sure you stick to a key colour palette.
The all-black style can also really make bridesmaids stand out and give a beautifully elegant look. This style is easy to find, and it’s also a guarantee dress type that bridesmaids will want to wear again! Black dresses are chic on their own, but we love the idea of adding in some colour in other aspects- it’s a great excuse to accessorize! Choose some statement jewellery to make your look pop!
Now let’s talk about the boys! Is there anything better than a man dressed in a super suave suit? We think not! Opt for elegant tuxedos or a classic three piece suit which are bang on trend right now; they’re sophisticated but allow you to play with colour combinations to add in those touches of personality!
It’s all about the stylish accessories right now too! From a more causal look with rolled up sleeves, funky bow ties, and even sun glasses! Whatever you go for, these are great ways to lift your look to the next level and to add your personality to your outfit! Bow ties are a timeless classic and they have become a modern accessory: we also love the stylish buttonholes to add that extra touch!
When it comes to shoes, it’s no longer all about the classic black! Now, men take their shoe choices seriously, selecting styles to reflect their personal taste. Make sure you’re matching up though- if brown shoes are your thing, then a blue wedding suit is the way to go!
For the flower girls, pretty dresses and frilly skirts are still a safe bet. But you can easily have a little fun with these dresses as long as the style of the wedding is kept in mind. No matter what kind of dress is chosen, the flower girl has to be comfortable!
There are also Boho-style dresses, perfect for a beach or garden wedding. A cute little chiffon or lace dress paired with some sandals and a floral headpiece is a wining combo!
For little boys you can also find adorable wedding outfits whether they’re part of the ceremony or not. A linen and cotton waistcoat or suit jacket can add a touch of class to any outfit, coupled with a new shirt it’ll be a hit on the big day! You can also mix a shirt or a polo with smart denim and some cool shoes for a great boys’ look.
When choosing a wedding outfit, you’ve got to consider all those other little factors that could impact the big day: the time of year, the colour scheme, the venue, etc… But most of all make sure you’re comfortable and that it’s been given the thumbs up from the bride and groom!
