Emily and Jonny's Boho-Themed Wedding At Home

Since their engagement, Emily had always known one thing - she wanted to get married at home in front of her closest friends and family. Her grandfather's field then, was the perfect venue for the laid back festival style day she and Jonny were going to remember forever!

Since her engagement, Emily had always known one thing – she wanted to get married at home in front of her closest friends and family. Her grandfather’s field then, was the perfect venue for the laid back festival-style day she, Jonny and their guests were going to remember forever!

The bride wore an embellished wedding dress by Theia, while her bridesmaids kept things simple in dusty pink dresses from Marks and Spencer! To complete her boho look, Emily ordered her flower crown from Folky Dokey, which matched the pink peonies on the tables and in her wedding bouquet.

Emily and Jonny proved that a wedding day doesn’t have to be the most expensive day of your life by opting not only to host it in their grandfather’s garden, but also by getting creative with their family members to decorate the tipis. Make up and hair was done by Emily’s friends, Laura, Lisa and Michelle, while another of Emily’s friends, Rohan, stunned us all with the wedding stationary and invites. Also, Jonny decorated his own suit and Rugby themed waistcoat. Impressive!

The wedding cake was devoured much too quickly for Tim to snap a photo, but rest assured it was gorgeous. Emily designed it herself and her work colleagues brought it to life for the big day.

With the vows exchanged, Emily and Jonny were officially married, and the only thing left to do was celebrate with music from Jonny Ross. From the photos it looks like it was an amazing day had by all. We wish Emily and Jonny all the happiness in the world. Hopefully their day can inspire future brides to get creative too!
