When And Why Did You Start Working As A Wedding Planner?
“I inherited my love for weddings and special events from my mother, an elegant and modern woman with whom as a child we painted and cut and glued, experimenting with those expressive techniques that would become an integral part of my work. “As a wedding planner, I can express my love and passion for design, art, creativity, flowers and delicately designed tables. My profession helps me to express myself through the concept of “the art of living”, and that is also the style of my work. I start every single project with a goal to make it special for the guests and the bridal couple”.
What services do you offer?
“I am available for full or partial planning of weddings in Italy and the rest of Europe. Bridal couples also often want me to stay during the whole wedding day, sometimes even the night, for the on site co-ordination.”
What are the steps from the beginning to the end of your work?
“The first step is to meet the bride and groom to understand their tastes and needs. After getting to know them, I can start to plan and organize the different stages of the wedding. First, I define the details of the ceremony and reception, help the couple choose the perfect location, theme, decoration, stationary and all the other details of the wedding. Apart from that, I am responsible for selecting quality wedding suppliers and services, negotiating the contracts while ensuring compliance with the couple’s budget and deadlines. During the wedding, I supervise and coordinate all activities of the event and I am always available and prepared if something unexpected happens. After the wedding, I also like to talk to the couple about the wedding to hear their feedback to improve my work”.
How long in advance should you book your service?
“It is always advisable to start organizing a wedding at least six months in advance. In fact, if you wish to find a special location and hire renowned suppliers that live up to your expectations I recommend to start even earlier”.

“2020 and 2021 will be all about celebrating romantic weddings with small, tailor-made details. Individual flower arrangements are in vogue and many bridal couples prefer natural styles and the proximity to forest or mountain scenery. Many couples are choosing wild flowers and herbs. The decoration remains elegant, but less showy. Connected with this is also the preference in venues – couples love to get married in greenhouses! Most importantly; the iron and glass structures, which transform these venues into magical places. Furthermore, spectacular floral arrangements amongst elegant lights, mirrors, and candles are very popular. Another trend for art lovers is how some couples are choosing to marry in a museum, for example, in the Tuscany Museum – a lovely and very special venue for the big day.”
