Five years ago, Bruno and Beatriz met, became friends, and then shortly after lost contact. A few years – and some comings and goings – later, they met again and realised that they no longer saw one another as friends. They began dating almost immediately, and became engaged within a matter of months, and moved in together too – after all, who dictates the rules of relationships? And to celebrate their love, they hosted a gorgeous wedding, decorated with purple shades, orchids and original lights – so take a look, and get inspired for your own rustic wedding day…
In this couple’s relationship, “letting it happen” was a fundamental attitude. They did not sit down, plan, and make concrete decisions, instead choosing to go with the flow. Funnily enough, that is how they got engaged!
“We were in a pet shop in Miami, buying dog tags, and then we went into the parking lot and decided there and then we wanted to get married. We wanted to have a ‘mini’ ceremony without all of the official business, but with a lot of love involved – it was not strictly scheduled, it just developed naturally and became this unexpected day!”
The strong partnership shared by this couple is evident in every photo that was taken by the wonderful Danilo Siquiera on their big day. Capturing the originality of their personalities (and their love for their dogs too!), Danilo Siquiera managed to express just how authentic this wedding was, and also portray the genuine joy that was felt not just by Beatriz and Bruno, but by all of their guests too. A true photographic talent, Danilo is the person to contact if you are considering jetting across the Atlantic for your big day.
For their completely unique, intimate, and personalised wedding, the bride and groom chose a venue in the heart of São Paulo, in the popular Oca Tupiniquim Square. The Villa Madalena showcased all the charm of its natural environment, and also boasted incredible furnishings and a delicious buffet provided by the staff working there.
“We chose Oca Tupiniquim because it is a beautiful place, intimate, and full of greenery! Their buffet also completely won us over – the food was wonderful!”

The couple had one goal in mind: to have a more casual ceremony, and convey a lot of positive energy. To do this, they filled the space with flowers in bright colours, with images and sayings of Buddha.
And this wonderful couple could not leave their dogs out of their big day. The puppies present were both adopted from shelters dedicated to the protection of abandoned animals, and created a real family feel for the big day. There was a lot of love present!
We day a huge thank you to Danilo Siquiera for allowing us to showcase Bruno and Beatriz’s beautiful wedding day, and a similarly large congratulations to this pair! We wish them, and their dogs, all the happiness in the world!
