It was a very intimate civil ceremony, in the presence of just a few family and friends, which took place at the actor’s home in Los Angeles, ahead of their second wedding celebrations on Johnny’s private island, Amber Beach, named after his wife, in the Bahamas this weekend.
The 51 year old actor and the 28 year old actress met on a movie set in 2011, which controversially led to the break up of his marriage with the singer and mother of his children Vanessa Paradis.
They celebrated their 2014 engagement with an elaborate medieval party and finally surprised us with details of their very secret wedding this week after months of speculation in the press.
For the Bahamas celebration, Amber Heard has apparently chosen a dress by British designer Stella McCartney. Great choice Amber!
