We all dream of lazy summer days, enjoying the best of the British summertime. As a nation, one of our favourite summer activities is a picnic. We love them! From taking picnics on a trip to the seaside, or camping outside Wimbledon with strawberries and Champagne, a picnic is pretty much a national passtime.
If you’re looking for something a little unique and less formal for your big day, why not consider an outdoor picnic theme? Not ideal for a wedding with 100 guests, but if you’re looking for something a little different for an intimate wedding, then we think a picnic is perfect!
Not sure on a wedding picnic? Maybe it’s too informal? You’re wrong! You can make it as fancy as you like. Serve champagne, use plenty of flowers, pretty tablecloths and adding some beautiful lighting for an evening event will instantly transform your average picnic into something elegant and magical. You could even bring some indoor furniture outdoors for a rustic style.
Not convinced on a wedding picnic? Then we think a picnic is also a great idea for a hen party or a post wedding day brunch with close family and friends.
