Villa the Labyrinth Merli already Soardi is a historic residence built in the first half of the eighteenth century by the architect Antonio Turbini on the remains of a medieval castle of which it preserves the moat rich in fish and water lilies and drawbridges.
Immersed in greenery and in the last strip of countryside on the edge of the city, despite being one step away from the center, it offers many exclusive and refined spaces to set the reception.
Along the driveway, on the left you can see a small gate in which the ancient rose garden (rose garden) is kept. Accessing this garden dominated by rose gardens, rows of badgers carved in conical shapes, plays of light and water, glimpses of the ancient walls can be seen beyond the ditch, leaving the observer "in suspense".
Once past the drawbridge, you will be greeted by a large but cozy courtyard, a portico with high Doric columns and an elegant garden with a stone balustrade and eighteenth-century statues. The walls of the historic U-shaped building envelop the guest in a romantic atmosphere.
On the ground floor the four rooms: the Sala Prima, the Neoclassical Room, the Sala di Bacco and the Sala delle Colonne open on one side on a porch, courtyard and flower garden and on the other side have a view of the nineteenth-century park.
In the background of the park there is a suggestive neoclassical temple. On the first floor of the Villa there is the large Domed Hall with a completely frescoed ceiling, the Library Room and the Bishop's Room.
The park is bordered by the long tree-lined avenue of century-old hornbeams designed by the architect Berenzi in the form of a trilobate exedra. In the middle of the tree-lined avenue, in the silence of nature where the chirping of birds is heard, you can see the hares and the heron, there is the area of ancient oaks and the maze of hedges which have recently been treated and restored. to which the Villa inherits the name "Villa il Labirinto".
Still the stable area, the courtyard and the back garden will be a magical and scenic setting for your wedding. In the Villa there is an intimate and frescoed private chapel. Villa il Labyrinth can also be an enchanting setting for the celebration of the symbolic civil ceremony on site.
Villa il Labyrinth hosts only one event per day.
We found it almost by chance browsing the internet and it was love at first sight! The villa is magnificent, fabulous! The perfect location for the best day of our life! Salt with frescoes, immersed and well-kept gardens, not to mention the very suggestive temple! Add to all this a courtesy and an unparalleled availability on the part of the landlady, Mrs. Luisa. Always present even on the day of the event and always available! I recommend it to all future spouses ... if you are not too far from Brescia you cannot at least go and see it!
A fabulous frame! Everything was perfect in every detail and the professionalism and availability of the owner helped a lot. A wonderful day, thank you!
A magnificent location. Really lovely. Perfect frame even for photos. We have kept the refreshment outside in a very elegant courtyard, and dinner inside, in a splendid hall. It was like living a fairy tale. The ideal place for romantic and refined weddings!
