Our experience with Francesca and her family was totally positive from start to finish. Tenuta il Pilaccio in Cilento is a beautiful place and we cannot recommend it enough! We were looking for a place where we could perform both a ceremony and a wedding banquet. We were also looking for a place with a beautiful garden, in a beautiful area with character and perhaps a beautiful view: the estate responded to each of these requests and positively surprised us. It is truly a simple but magical place. Francesca is a very organized, helpful, flexible and kind person. We have always had a lot of faith in her also because we live abroad so we have organized everything through emails and calls. Unfortunately we had to postpone twice due to the pandemic and Francesca was very helpful and flexible, she thinks of every detail and helps you with any doubts and questions extremely quickly. The wedding day was very special and really the representation of what we had dreamed of. Francesca's whole family was welcoming and very kind. They thought of every detail but were not invasive when they asked us questions. It also rained (in August in Campania, what a bad luck!) And we talked about plan b before so we felt safe. It is also worth mentioning the food that was produced and served by staff proposed by the estate, the varied and delicious menu best represents the culinary characteristics of Campania and Cilento in this case. The estate is an authentic place that is simple and elegant at the same time. The garden where we set up the civil ceremony and the aperitif is cared for down to the smallest detail while remaining welcoming. The covered terrace has a rustic and refined style and in the evening the soft lights and candles have given magic and intimacy. We stayed in the historic villa and it was exciting to sleep in a place full of memories with an ancient and familiar atmosphere. The real strength, the added value of this place is given by the staff. First of all Francesca, impeccable hostess available and serene who never made us lack her attentions, like at breakfast the next day, and her smiles; the catering delighted everyone with typical traditional dishes and we received countless compliments, all the very kind and discreet waiters, really professional. I respect everyone's tastes, but I think that getting married in a place like this is absolutely not comparable to any cold and impersonal wedding factory. I highly recommend it to those who feel that getting married must first of all be an emotion.
A dream place for a romantic and original wedding. The assistance of Francesca and her family before and during the wedding is impeccable. They gave us the opportunity to organize everything perfectly even though we were miles away. They recommended local suppliers who were serious and passionate about their work. The structure is fabulous, the delicious lunch, the impeccable service, the lawn of the estate will allow you and your guests to relax in the sun or let loose in the dances. Furthermore, the town of Mercato Cilento offers a truly unforgettable setting. For the accommodation of our guests we have used the rooms of the estate (beautiful and very comfortable) and other structures located a few kilometers away.
