MIRKO TURATTI
Owner and founder of the firm , he was born in Sesto Fiorentino in 1977, after earning a diploma in accountancy, he attended the University of Florence, earning a law degree in 2005, he began his photographic career as a professional and founded the SPBstudio with headquarters in Sesto fiorentino, where he specialized in ceremony photography and industrial photography, also following important international events. Some examples:
Unesco conferences, artistic events at Roccoforte Hotels, public and private events FERRARI spa, FCA group, OPEL group , official photographer at PITTI IMMAGINE , Probios, PICCI SPA, Tecnoarredamenti SRL, Fineco Bank and many others
Over the course of his career, he repeatedly served as final examiner at the European School of Photography APAB and at the National School for Independent Cinema in Florence.
He also holds the role of digital and analogue photography teacher at Art Music Academy Florence and currently at his studio for many years with over 1100 students.
His personal photographic career instead boasts of two Honorable Mention at the International Photography Award 2014 and 2015, four nominees at the Black and White spider AWARD 2014-15-16-17, the honorable mention at the I nternational color AWARD the Moskow International Photo Award 2016 (MIFA) and selection 100 in the LEICA AWARD 2014 , as well as many other small photo awards.
Currently at his studio he is still involved in ceremonies, events, photo books, still life and industrial photos with numerous significant collaborations such as PICCI srl, Ferrari SPA, RoccoforteHOTELS, FCA, Jeep, OPEL, TIAC, Brandini SPA, ABARTH and many others.
He also pursues his career as a reportage and storytelling photographer collaborating with ACCRI Trieste, Cittadinaza Rimini and many other non-profit organizations on behalf of which he realizes various social reports.
He currently teaches Digital Photography and Photo Editing at the studio and holds the Adobe Certification Expert.
