Sofia was the most precious resource of our wedding and the one who allowed us to realize a three days at the height of our dreams. It was all in line with, if not above, our very high expectations.

Let's tell a little more about us and our marriage to help you understand our review and appreciate the characteristics of the work of Sofia and her team.

My husband and I are managers of a multinational, used to working at a fast pace, in a hyper-structured way, with little time available. We had clear in mind the type of event we wanted to organize, divided into three moments: welcome event, wedding day and greeting brunch the next day. All three events had different identities with different “themes” and moods (from pizza with friends, to Sicilian weddings, to the sea relaxing with friends). We introduced ourselves to “poor” Sofia, whom we had come to thanks to some good works that we had noticed online, making her like an audition with a power point brief and asking her to give us feedback on what we had in mind. Sofia immediately gave us the feeling of having grasped the essence of our desire, with competence and humility, with a spirit of comparison and artistic taste, and above all, she gave us the feeling of wanting to make OUR wedding not a HER event. shoot in glossy magazines - as we have perceived from several colleagues even more "renowned". We understood that it was she who would make our dream come true!

We had already chosen the location, the Tonnara di Marzamemi - unaware of its characteristics and complexity (for example, it is a completely EMPTY box, rather distant from the FULL Sicilian wedding we wanted) - in which Sofia had never directly worked for a wedding, but thanks to his preparation, his numerous inspections and strong connections with various caterers and suppliers, local experts, we NEVER had the feeling that he did not know him like the back of his hand.

Our marriage took shape slowly, exactly with the identity we had in mind, with several feedback rounds coordinated by her with the numerous suppliers, which she kept "in line" and was able to orchestrate and make available in our few moments free. He was also able to coordinate the organizational secretariat with our guests, practically all from far away, leaving everyone extremely enthusiastic.

Organizing the wedding together was smooth and enjoyable, on par with one of the best projects my husband and I have ever done. And then the day came, where planning left room for emotion. Knowing us there was the real risk that we would not be able to detach ourselves from the organizational approach to live our emotions! But instead .. We completely entrusted ourselves to Sofia, Nadia and Gandolfo and we enjoyed our day, our feeling that was finally crowned in marriage, and all the special moments with our loved ones.

In short, we will re-choose Sofia 10/100/1000 other times! Obviously in our path there have been unforeseen events, adaptations, moments of fatigue, which we have managed together and in the best possible way and today are not even part of our memories. Ours was a rather complex event, with numerous aspects of pure organization (contact with at least 25 suppliers, estimates, payments, deadlines, followups, guest management, accommodations, transfers) which in some moments required my contribution in the first place. For such complex events, for the future, I suggested to Sofia to get help with a slightly more "operational" secretariat, in order to free her and the spouses precious time to enjoy the journey together.

We wish Sofia a splendid journey, which always manages to guarantee to her couples the 1: 1 ratio that characterizes her and the “artisan” product that must make her proud of her work.

Let's briefly share a few details about us and our wedding, which may help to better appreciate our feedback and Sofia and her team's work.

Both my husband and I are managers for an international corporation, used to work with high pressure and structured processes, with very little spare time. We had clear ideas on the event we wanted to realize, developed among 3 different moments: rehearsal dinner, wedding day and goodbye brunch. All three events had to have different location and moods (from “a pizza in the countryside”, to a typical Sicilian wedding, to “a day at the beach”). We had spotted Sofia on internet, thanks to her previous brilliant executions, and decided to “audition” her. We shared a Powerpoint brief and gathered her feedbacks on our ideas. She immediately got our dream, with professionality and humility, with a frank conversation on how to bring to life our dream, and immediately focusing on her creativity. We loved that Sofia immediately tried to imagine with us OUR wedding day, not HER own event to be published on cool magazines - which we got from several other luxury Italian WPs. She was the one.

We had already chosen the location, “la Tonnara di Marzamemi” - not considering its peculiarities and criticalities, eg it is totally EMPTY, pretty much the opposite of the ABUNDANCE we wanted to get with our sicilian wedding - in which Sofia had never organized any wedding before. Thanks to her professionality, hard work, site inspections and partnership with catering and all other suppliers familiar to the side, we NEVER have regret our choice.

Little by little, our wedding become reality, exactly as we had imagined it, with our continuous feedbacks, provided within our very little free time, coordinated by Sofia to all our suppliers. She has also managed part of our guests accommodations and transfers, with consistent positive feedbacks.

Setting up the full wedding weekend has been fluid and a very positive experience, very much comparable with our best working projects both me and my husband have ever arranged. And then THE DAY came, where the full organizer-mood left room to our feelings. We managed to fully leave the organizer-mood in Sofia, Nadia and Gandolfo's master hands and enjoy the days with our family and friends. We loved the day, we loved each other and we loved spending time with all the people we had gathered together.

Net, thanks God we chose Sofia! As always happens in such journeys, we have encountered hic-ups, received unexpected news, adopted adaptive attitude, all of which have been part of our experience and do not represent today anything bad to be remembered. Our wedding event was a complex one, with strong organizational skills to own to manage it (more than 25 suppliers, quotations, payments, followups, guest management, accommodations, transfers, etc.). All of these complexities, required in several occasions my personal contribution to keep everything under control. In case of such “big” events, I would recommend to Sofia to rely on a dedicated resource to release the organizational pressure from her and from the couple.

We wish to Sofia all the best, hoping she will always be able to deliver her 1: 1 relationship with the couples and her outstanding “customized” project, which are both her very strong assets.

Sofia did not reply. Perhaps to please two spouses, if one is attentive to attention to detail and the other wants lightheartedness, it is necessary to go straight to the facts.

Piece after piece, the mosaic is composed and each piece fits perfectly.

Not the classic fairytale wedding. Better something that narrates our love, fresh and spontaneous. So we entrusted our story to Sofia. And she made a story out of it.

The flowers spoke of a genuine love, which blooms in spring, lively and colorful. The mise en place , inside a poetic courtyard, made the lunch original and captivating. The music managed to mark every moment, without letting it go unnoticed.

At the end of the evening we had that famous answer we had been waiting for months. “We would like it to be a party with friends. Are we able? " Yes Sofia, we did it.

Thanks to you we got what we wanted: a wedding embellished with details that draw the identity of our love, in a light and carefree setting.

Elegance, without the need for pomp. Uniqueness, without any ostentation. In one word: our style.

We got married last September in Sicily and thanks to Sofia and all her staff it was a wonderful wedding.

We turned to Sofia after various searches and attempts to organize on our own but, also due to the pandemic and the distance (we live outside the Region), we could not find places that convinced us fully.

We chose Sofia for the professionalism and seriousness shown right from the first contacts. Punctual, precise, affable and above all concrete.

We met in person after having already started working on our wedding, one weekend in October, ready to visit churches and locations for the party she selected. Thanks to her we have chosen a unique place, the maximum expression for us of Sicilianity and a perfect synthesis of what we were looking for.

From that moment on we dedicated ourselves to the preparations: chats on whatsapp, video calls and lots of emails. Despite the distance, it was as if Sofia was physically with us so accurate were her descriptions and the "presence" demonstrated. With tireless patience, she accompanied us step by step in the organization, with attention and with a smile even though we were organizing the wedding in full pandemic. In fact, there have been complicated moments in which the feeling of uncertainty prevailed but she was always close to us, like a friend.

He proposed suppliers of the highest level and with whom we got along very well.

The wedding day was practically as we had dreamed of, in fact it exceeded our expectations. But above all it was the culmination of a beautiful journey made together with Sofia who has been an integral part of the wedding itself.

In all cases, the skilful direction of Sofia was fundamental.
