Radicepura was born in 2012. The dream of the Knight Venerando Faro was to tell his historical experience in international horticulture with the creation of a large space that would gather all his passion. The dream became reality with the birth of the Radicepura botanical park, an area of 5 hectares with more than 3,000 species of plants inside, today a center of excellence for researchers, landscape architects, green operators. A park that welcomes, pampers, and frames a large events area. I like to define Radicepura as the "box of wonders" in which nature, architecture, landscape and beauty live in osmosis, arousing emotions and amazements to our visitors.
The "Radicepura Foundation " is located here, which aims to enhance the Mediterranean landscape heritage, bio-sustainability, art, through both cultural and educational events, one of these is the "Radicepura Garden Festival", the biennial of the Mediterranean landscape that takes place every two years, which gives young talents the opportunity to carry out projects aimed at revaluing the landscape.
From an eventistic point of view in this case linked to the wedding sector, Radicepura is aimed at all those couples who embrace the idea of organizing their important day inside a park, which thanks to the presence of priceless tree and shrub species tends to change its appearance seasonally, thus determining, as I usually like to define, a dynamic and non-static location, since the natural setting of the park that surrounds the event area changes its appearance in terms of colors and growth, continuously giving the impression of being in different spaces.
The park has a large events area where architecture, landscape and nature shape spaces suitable for every type of eventistic need both in terms of numbers and above all beauty.
An ancient area characterized by an architecture of the end of the 19th century with typically Sicilian connotations: a noble palace to which an ancient Palmento is attached, now renamed "Palmento del Padrino" in which the well-known Director Coppola, entranced by both size and beauty, shot the scenes of the Film the Godfather part two. A modern part dominated by the Tropical Greenhouse with modern architectural connotations capable of hosting up to 600 people, a tropical garden in which to admire centenary shrub species that live and coexist within a structure that marries the characteristics of Bio-architecture. Outdoor spaces dominated by the Sicilian terraces to those of the Palms to the wonderful Kensie lawn
We host only one event per day
