The Poggio Cavallo estate is a small eighteenth-century village, once the beating heart of one of the most beautiful estates in the Maremma, which, thanks also to careful restoration work, welcomes its guests in an authentic atmosphere, offering moments of pleasant relaxation immersed in the nature where silence makes the atmosphere magical; a beautiful location, the scent of nature, the sound of the land of Maremma, will frame your most beautiful day.

The avenue of secular cypresses

Open only for special occasions, it offers newlyweds a triumphal entrance to the 19th-century manor house to open the celebrations in grand style and amaze their guests.

Unusual wedding

The Poggio Cavallo Estate, by virtue of an agreement with the Municipality of Grosseto, was elected a separate Civil Status Office, thus being able to host the celebration of weddings and civil unions, both in its magnificent open spaces, such as the Parco della Villa and gardens immersed in the olive grove, both in the internal rooms used as the municipal house.
It is also suitable as a suggestive place for a symbolic ceremony.

The manor house

Historical residence of 1800 has preserved, over the years, the original state of the house thanks to important renovations and is today the meeting point between the mystery of history and the charm of modernity; surrounded by a large garden, among holm oaks, cedars of Lebanon and ancient wineskins filled with flowers and citrus fruits, it is the favorite place for the celebration of the ceremony and for welcoming guests with a welcome refreshment.

Rivagiotti restaurant

The Rivagiotti restaurant overlooks the central square of the village, at the top of the hill overlooking the Ombrone River valley. The elegant and refined interiors have been obtained from the careful renovation of the old granary under the large arches of the structure, in total respect of the original characteristics of the building. The large room furnished with soft colors and warm tones, to make the atmosphere even more pleasant and enveloping, is the ideal setting
for romantic dinners, banquets, business meetings, refreshments and ceremonies.

The Poggio Cavallo estate offers its guests a pleasant stay in various types of rooms and apartments equipped with all the comforts necessary for relaxation. It can accommodate 50 guests on site and we provide the service of finding additional accommodations in the vicinity.
