The Parador de Alcalá de Henares is housed in a 17th-century building, the former Santo Tomás Dominican convent school, which, together with the Hostería del Estudiante, located in the Colegio Menor de San Jerónimo, is part of the monumental complex of the Complutense city Patrimony of the Humanity.
The Parador has several unique spaces where you can organize the Civil Ceremony, the Banquet and the Party.
- The Garden of Students, outdoor space on natural grass.
- The Cloister of Santo Tomás, outdoor spaces with visits to History.
- The Paraninfo Hall, at the forefront of contemporary architecture.
- The Condueños Hall of the Hostería del Estudiante, if you like history in this space we have five centuries.

I would like to communicate my tremendous dissatisfaction with the treatment and service received, the lack of attention and endless nonsense.
Starting with the impersonal and distant treatment through email.
I had to hire 2 nights of a room to get dressed there, and I had to make the bed myself, because despite demanding the cleaning service on two occasions and warning that the photographer and videographer was coming, they did not come until after an hour and half when they were already doing the report in my room and I was about to go to church.
We arrived at the room and no one from the staff welcomed the newlyweds to enter the room with a glass of cava, it was the guests who made us repeat the entry and do it as they themselves said as God intended with their help. However, no one from the staff welcomed us or came to offer us a glass of whatever it was for us to toast at our entrance.
They served the dishes and the children NO , I had to demand twice that they serve the children who were the poor watching how the rest of us ate. I believe that they are the first to serve food. Not to mention the burnt black fries.
I had to claim the coffee from the presidential table 3 times and to top it all, the cava was withdrawn as it was served, leaving us unable to toast or drink it. I asked for a new glass and they repeated the operation, they took it from me without having drunk it and I asked for it again and again the same thing, I complain and they tell me that they have a pick-up order so that we can order the glasses ... so I've seen it, now Despite having thought in the first instance to have drinks there with the guests, we decided to leave long before the deadline time, and look for an alternative for drinks with my guests. After all this, not a single detail in the room, I don't know a tray of fruit or a bottle of cava for the wedding night. They ruined my wedding. A real disaster ... and not even anyone in the organization had the courtesy to ask how it went ...
I honestly do not know why they have an events organization department if their only job is to put the table protocol at the door of the room. After a month, I am still waiting for a response or an apology to the email I send to that department.
Without hesitation I would not recommend it and I am very disappointed with all this, with the enthusiasm and confidence placed in the Parador and more could not disappoint me. I don't think my guests would recommend it either, given what they saw.
