Palazzo Ducale Venturi is a treasure chest that contains five centuries of history and culture, a noble residence finely restored and furnished with pieces of remarkable artistic value, renovated under the protection of the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage.
The Castle, which now houses 20 suites and rooms, is an exclusive 5-star luxury hotel in the pretty village of Minervino di Lecce, a few steps from the city of Otranto and immersed in the magical world of Menhirs.
To realize the dream of a fairytale wedding, Palazzo Ducale Venturi with its partners has created a special package : LIVING HISTORY.
The package includes a stay for the newlyweds and their guests in the luxury of Palazzo Ducale Venturi 5 * L (16th century) where the ceremony will be held in the secret garden among orange and lemon trees with the ancient fountain of the palace in the background.
An unforgettable welcome cocktail will be held at the Casamassella Castle (13th century), a medieval period residence a few kilometers from the hotel, while the wedding reception will take place in the sumptuousness of Castello al Borgo, a 15th century palace in Alessano.
On request it is possible to organize a brunch at Palazzo Ducale Venturi on the day after the wedding.
Reliving history is a unique project and absolutely not repeatable by others. With a single ceremony we want to provide three historical and authentic locations that want to make a special day unique and unforgettable through a wedding that will have "love" as its common thread, and which will take place in three suggestive and authentic Castles of Salento.
Palazzo Ducale Venturi also has a special suite for the newlyweds with frescoes depicting the story of the princess of Alimini and the knight San Giorgio (the one who defeated the dragon). The bride and groom can also choose the particular room of the Abbess or that of the Novice (rooms completely recovered using ancient processing systems that have brought them back to their former glory).
