The Naval Museum of the Caribbean is located in the Walled Area of Cartagena de Indias, between the San Francisco Javier Bastion and the San Pedro Claver Temple, with access from the Plaza de Santa Teresa. The nearly 3,500-square-meter building is made up of two large 70-meter-long wings, separated by shady patios.
This magical place protects within its walls the cultural and historical wealth of the maritime tradition of Colombia that took place in the city of Cartagena de Indias. More than 400 historical objects, multiple models and easy-to-understand teaching devices, promote the protection of the underwater cultural heritage of the country and highlight the role played by the Army of the Republic of Colombia in the formation and consolidation of our national identity.
Its beautiful and inspiring facilities lend themselves to holding events such as magnificent weddings, as it has spaces enabled to offer services to the community in general.
It has an events room located on the first floor, with capacity for 250 people; its auditorium also on the first floor, reaches in size for 100 people and finally, it offers the Mauricio Obregón colonial room, on the second floor with a capacity of up to 600 people.
A few months ago I was at the wedding of some friends, and is fascinated with the place, it is magical, unique, it has a touch of history that makes it special. No doubt it will be my place too.
