Our Masseria is located about two kilometers from Martina Franca, in the Valle d'Itria, a charming valley surrounded by three hills on which the municipalities of Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca rise. The name of the Valley draws its origins from the discovery in an underground church in the countryside of Martina Franca, of an ancient Icon of the Madonna of the Odegitria of the Byzantine cult, currently kept in the Basilian Church of Sant 'Antonio ai Cappuccini in Martina Franca.

The construction of the Masseria, from historical research, dates back to the end of the 1700s with the initial construction of the Trulli, typical circular constructions with conical roofs, isolated or small groups, built dry and features of this valley. The construction of the imposing Padronale house dating back to 1861, with its characteristic red color that stands at the center of the cohort of trulli. The Trulli were destined to shelter animals and work tools, those consisting of 2-3 cones, while the home of the "Massaro" was the conglomerate with more cones as it was structurally more suitable for family and work needs.

The current property deriving from the fragmentation of a larger feudal unit in small
property freed from the settlers, was bought in 1960 by the family of the current owners. Recently restored according to the original architectural rules, it has a private swimming pool and a modern tennis court and provides bed and breakfast or holiday home service. Tenuta Odegitria is recognized as a separate "Office of the Civil Status" for the celebration of marriages and civil unions pursuant to art. 3 of Presidential Decree 396/2000.

Nearby is the Church of Sant 'Antonio ai Cappuccini, home of the cult of the Madonna dell'Odegitria, as well as the historic Baroque Churches of the city of Martina Franca for the celebration of religious weddings.

The Estate, for the celebration of these events, offers the wide outdoor spaces and the alleys between the trulli, the garden around the pool, as well as a large wooden Gazebo, (about 200 square meters) covered for a capacity up to 120 people.

Immersed in the quiet of the countryside, among olive trees, fig trees, Mediterranean scrub, fragni and lecci, it is a
starting point for the most beautiful tourist destinations in Puglia and for the sandy coasts of the Adriatic or the Ionian Sea. Possibility to rent bikes for routes in the surrounding countryside.
