The building is a private country mansion from the XVII century totally renovated in respect to the Tuscan tradition and in authentic country chic style.
The resort is positioned between the most renowned southern Tuscan medieval towns of Pienza and Montalcino. Beautifully restored, the mansion stands within a gorgeous, luminous garden lined by holm-oak and olive trees.
Nine refined rooms and suites accommodate guests in the days leading to the main event taking place in a candlelit nightglowing atmosphere where finely laid tables are set around the property’s patios as well as inside the cosy, rustic stone stables.

Had truly a wonderful and special stay at Locanda where we had our ceremony and wedding party. The interior inside of Locanda is so special. Friendly and experienced staff that had many wedding before. For us the stay felt like a fairytale.
The Locanda in Tuscany is a wonderful place, nestled in the hills of the Val D'Orcia, a few minutes from Pienza and Bagno Vignoni, and it was the perfect location for our wedding. The classic Tuscan farmhouse actually amazes with a unique, fun and captivating style, in which objects belonging to the past find a new and surprising location. The owner, Claudia, is outspoken and determined and, thanks to her advice, her help, her attention to detail and the care in satisfying all our desires and needs, made our day perfect. The various corners available to the structure: a suggestive swimming pool around which our guests enjoyed an aperitif at sunset, an ideal courtyard for dinner, a corner with a fireplace where a unique atmosphere was created for cutting the cake, complete the beauty of the structure. Each of our guests was satisfied with the reception and enchanted by the beauty of the place. The Locanda in Tuscany will certainly remain one of our favorite places to return to. Let me start by saying that Locanda in Tuscany is a unique, ethereal place, where you can go back to the past times among the brown colors of the Val d'Orcia, a ray of sunshine that warms the Tuscan stone and the silence that accompanies you throughout the your stay. Not to mention the magnificent delicate sunsets, with the amber light peeking through the hills. Claudia, the soul of Locanda, is practically a born wedding planner who understands your tastes, your needs and in a very direct way simplifies all the various questions of the wedding organization. All the staff has always been kind and helpful, it makes you feel at home and this, for a wedding, is really very important believe me! My wedding at Locanda was truly genuine, intimate, romantic, like the weddings of the past. Long tables filled with wildflowers, refined but real, Tuscan, concrete food; fresh and clean air, walks in the courtyard, chatting on an old hay bale over a good glass of red. I recommend Locanda to anyone who wants a convivial but refined and delicate wedding at the same time.
