Hi, I’m Laura and I’m a full time professional wedding photographer based in Surrey. 

Every wedding is unique, the couples I work with are so very different. I pride myself on really aiding couples with the planning of their day. I have seen so many wedding across the years that I have also love to give some advice to couples along the way. 

I like to have fun. This is really important to me, especially at a wedding which is a very social occasion. All couples and their guests feel totally comfortable as soon as I arrive – making everyone feel at ease to have great images captured across the entire day. You often hear words like ‘unobtrusive’, ‘blend in’ or ‘in the background’ – this is not me. I get stuck in, I am hard to miss and my energy for taking awesome photography shines through.

I am often asked what makes my approach and style different to other photographers – and it’s a very good question. I love taking unposed images of couples, their guests and family members. It would be very easy for anyone to rock up with a camera and take thousands of images across the day and evening – thinking they are taking ‘candid’ style photography. In my opinion someone passing a glass of champagne to another person is not really candid photography. Real candid photography is being patient and anticipating with my experience an awesome moment before it happens. That’s what makes me different.
