Built in 1887 in Les Sables d'Olonne, in the Garlière marshes, La Salorge, or salt loft, is a 300m2 stone building that remained unoccupied for a long time. In 2016, four entrepreneurs entrusted the renovation of this piece of architecture and local history to the architect Frédéric Périot, who brought La Salorge back to life. A versatile reception room, this superb and imposing room has retained all the elements that make it unique. Cathedral ceiling, wooden frame , imposing buttresses which resisted the pressure of the salt, and was increased by a professional kitchen , a terrace and a landscaped environment .
La Salorge receives a lot of events all year round. From conferences to dance parties, concerts and cooking competitions, this room that has become emblematic of Les Sables is an exceptional place to bring together up to 300 people for a cocktail outside and 200 for dinner.
