He has a studio, shop and laboratory in Viseu on Rua da Ponte de Pau nº15, right next to the Forum, where he forms a team with his wife Céu Macedo.
The most common is to have weddings in Viseu, Guarda, Bragança, Vila Real, Coimbra, Aveiro, Porto and all areas of Portugal but in recent years they have been requested for some countries where our emigrants are located such as Spain, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, England, Germany among others.
He is the son of a photographer and from a very young age he began to gain passion for this art and to immortalize beautiful love stories, over the years there are many hundreds always different and with new challenges, which make him always in constant growth.

José Macedo was our wedding photographer and with him we still did the singles session and we are still going to do the Trash the Dress session and so far we only have good things to say. Immensely professional, with a lot of experience in photography and with an unparalleled friendliness, I don't think we could have chosen better. I have always said that the best investment in a wedding would be a good photographer, because it will be through the photographs that we will remember every moment and every detail and, with José Macedo, we will be able to have that and still have the pleasure of doing the sessions. When we decided to get married and choose our suppliers for the wedding, there was one that was the most important for us, as it would record the big day in our memory.
We then asked for quotes from some suppliers but from the first contact José was in our preference not only for his work but also for his friendliness, we had a meeting with him where he was explained in detail about his way of working and his products and we were immediately surrendered to his talent and we made the reservation of the day with him.
A few months later we did our singles session where we had a super nice time and had beautiful photos.
On the day of the wedding, José and his team were so dedicated and committed that they put us at ease and the final result could not have been better.
