The castle, that originates from the 13th century, has been recently renovated to create the perfect blend between modern luxury and the authentic Italian style. In the buildings you immediately feel at home in the warm and comfortable setting. From the first moment, the staff will welcome you and make you feel at ease for your special wedding. The hotel is in the green heart of Italy; Umbria is known for its beautiful green landscape with authentic cities that have an extremely rich history.
From lounging at the pool to reading a book in our reading room and from enjoying an Aperol Spritz on the beautiful terrace to having a mini-festival picnic in our woods. The whole location is exclusively rented for you. There is even a possibility to host a small intimate ceremony in our church and you can dance the night away without having to worry about other guests.
17 atmospheric rooms will be exclusively for you and your guests, and every room is unique: from double or triple bedrooms to luxurious or family suites. All rooms have been renovated by an (interior) architect that combined the authentic elements such as the beamed ceilings, floors and walls with interior styling that is warm hotel chic. The amenities are of the highest comfort level, all rooms have a private bathroom and are equipped with tea and coffee facilities.
Nobody needs to go home
The hotel has a total of 46 places to sleep that can be increased to 51 by adding extra beds.
In case you will be more than 51 people, there is a hotel close by that can easily accommodate another 42 guests. We are happy to arrange a shuttle service for you.
Enjoy your stay at star level
Our Chef, Federico, used to work in a Michelin-star restaurant but decided to go into a different direction. Together with his team, they grow our own vegetables and herbs. The sustainable, seasonal and local method is extremely valuable to Borgo Castello Panicaglia and you can taste the love into our menus. Quality is extremely important in the kitchen.
Together with the Chef, you will determine the menus for your wedding. No matter what you choose, everything will be very fresh, sustainable and after all tasty.
Our hotel manager and sommelier Mirca will help you find the best Umbrian wines that accompany your menus. Besides serving your favourite drinks, we are happy to provide delicious Italian food at star level; from pizza party to multiple course dinner, breakfast and lunch to brunch and aperitivo to mid-night snack.
