Benessamy is a multi award winning wedding and party planning company.  Led by CEO and Chief Planner  Val Mattinson, we plan personal, creative and inspired events for clients across the UK and destination weddings in the Caribbean.

Having trained with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners (UKAWP) Val has over 15 years of event planning experience. As a former Regional Ambassador of the UKAWP Val loves being part of the wedding industry and was thrilled to be awarded the Best Wedding Planner in the East Midlands in The Wedding Industry Awards 2015, 2016 and 2017 following client nominations and voting and Highly Commended in the Nationals in 2015.

Whether you're planning a wedding in a beautiful historic building, beneath the canopy of a luxurious marquee, on a sandy beach or in private villas on a stunning Caribbean island, Benessamy is here to ensure you have a wonderful occasion to remember.

I used their services for my wedding

We worked with Val right from the beginning of planning our wedding, and we couldn't have been more grateful for her support. We had our recepction in a tipi and Val worked incredibly hard to co-ordinate all our suppliers both before and on the day, ensuring that the whole thing ran so smoothly and was completely stress-free for us all. Moreover, Val was incredibly creative, suggesting new ideas to ensure our wedding was completely unique to us and our guests. We felt that Val went over and beyond, and we were incredibly grateful for her support. Thank you again!

I used their services for my wedding

We hired Benessamy Weddings & Events for our wedding day but slowly it became clear to myself and my wife to be that it was getting to stressful and we were not enjoying our build up to our big day. We than asked Val if she could come in and take control of all aspects of the wedding which was i great help and our build up to the wedding and the day itself is something we will never forget. Thanks Val your one in a million.
