I am an Italian photographer and I live on the border between Umbria and Tuscany.
It is probably for this reason that while loving to travel and learn about new cultures from which to draw
inspiration for my work, the things I prefer are the ones that are around every day
to me. Good food and good wine, walks through the countryside with my boxer Ruben and above all
the art that surrounds us.
I live in the city center, but I have my studio in the suburbs. It's great to leave the house and find yourself right away
in the square, the hub of life in Italian villages. But for work I need large spaces and one
logistics that the center cannot give me.
I have been a photographer for ten years. I started as a stage photographer at the theater, on film sets and at the
concerts, where I learned to always be ready because anything can happen there. To this genre
of photography I then joined the commercial one, in which it is necessary to keep everything under control
and have an almost maniacal attention to every detail. And all this flows into wedding photography,
where you need to be able to seize the moment, but also to know how to predict what will happen. This
it is what professionally gives me the most satisfaction from a human point of view: making two happy
people and helping to remember for years to come the best day of their life is priceless.
My style can be defined as wedding reportage, because my goal is to tell with
naturalness and elegance, through stolen moments, the joy, the happiness of two people and theirs
friends and relatives.
I let things happen around me, my job is to be ready and tell them with
discretion.
I firmly believe in the ability of photography to tell a story and in the value of memory
unique that takes on after some time. A moment not photographed is a lost memory.
