Evelia by La Sposa

The new collection by La Sposa has been created to make the wishes of the leading ladies in these fairy tale love stories come true. There are divine creations for modern day Cinderellas as well as fresh, more relaxed styles, not forgetting the perfect gowns for traditional brides wanting classic dresses with lashings of romanticism.

La Sposa conjures up magic with flowing skirts and layers of tulle frills that cascade willy-nilly to the hem. Fantasy knows no bounds with embroidered skirts and glitter fabrics that add a magical shine to some designs. Figure-skimming mermaid dresses are sexy, feminine choices. Draping and bustier-type bodies draw attention to the waist and add a subtle touch of colour. Although most necklines are sensual and have bare shoulders, all eyes are on the plunging backs.

St Patrick ‘Sabana’ design (pictured left) and ‘Siannan’ dress (pictured right)

Leading bridal label St. Patrick has spent more than four decades dressing brides for the most important days of their lives and more than 1,000 points of sale in 105 countries all over the world are evidence of St Patrick’s outstanding success. The company is named after the famous cathedral in New York’s elegant Fifth Avenue. St Patrick brides are elegant and sophisticated.

Subtle, sheer layering and fine lengths of lace, the height of romanticism are a recurring theme in this collection. Amongst the enormous wealth of fabrics featured are tulle-based dresses with Chantilly, rebrodé lace and gemstone embroidery, which in some cases transforms the designs into jewelled treasures. Gorgeous bodices with delicate mother-of-pearl beading add a tremendously flattering glow. Sumptuous plumetti and lace combine elegantly with sheer, layered necklines and bodices scattered with pearls.

White One

The sweet and romantic White One collection features original lace-up backs inspired by classic corsets, whose satin ribbons sensually crisscross the bride’s back and waistline, while rows of countless tiny buttons embellish the back of others from top to bottom.

This season offers wonderful work with mother-of-pearl on Chantilly, making these gowns authentic jewels. The embroidery brings light, texture and relief to the dresses and the gemstone embroidery and brooches on aged silver satin belts delicately break away from the monopoly of white, while the ever-flattering sweetheart neckline reveals her shoulders.

Cocktail collection by Pronovias with ‘Laina’ design (pictured left) and ‘Laurel’ design (pictured right)

The Cocktail collection by Pronovias is designed for sybarites who choose to dress stylishly and elegantly for special occasions. Creativity abounds in this collection in a wide range of options for cocktail parties, gala events, celebrations and ceremonies with a range of new materials and details. Silhouettes have clean lines that evoke the spirit that inspires this season. The collection features garments decorated with sculptural draping and floral prints in a starring role. Colour is another of the strengths of this collection. A rich, luminous palette which evolves from warm shades of red, coral, bougainvillea, lime and English rose to fetish colors such as royal peacock blue and purple, without forgetting the timeless elegance of pearl grey.
