What to wear to a spring wedding
So you have been invited to a Spring wedding. Fear not the impending shopping trip as this Spring the trends that hit the catwalk were bright, bright, bright, from New York and London to Paris and Milan colour was everywhere and it has, without a doubt, burst onto the High Street stores in all its glowing glory.
Be it in one solid block, stripes, floral or mixed up it is all about abundance of colour. Skirt lengths have also dropped creating a look that is feminine, classy and very flattering.
Thankfully for the Bride, with all the amazing colours on offer this Spring she need not fear a Guest showing up wearing white!!
For the Guest, this means you have a very wide choice of what to wear and how to wear it.
So what is on offer in the stores?
There are some amazing dresses in all shades and shapes to suit everyone.
Work the season’s trends with block colours ….
Dresses – Hobbs: Hat, Fascinator & Bags – Accessorize: Beige Sandal – Zara: Cream Shoe – Moonson
Or with fabulous blooming florals….
Dresses- Monsoon: Shoes – Zara: Bag & Fascinator – Accessorize
Glam up with a statement hat or fascinator but keep your accessories, bag and shoes in muted shades so as not to clash also stick with neutral shades of makeup and the let the dress do all the talking.
If you prefer to shy away from strong block colours or busy florals go for a dress with a neutral shade and work the trends with accessories instead.
Dress – Coast: Hat & Shoes – Zara: Bracelet – Topshop: Bag – Monsoon
Bright coloured shoes and hat bring the outfit alive, pair with a small clutch with a splash of colour, have some fun with jewellery, perhaps a stack of brightly coloured bracelets or a solid coloured cuff or broche.
Whatever way you decide to work the Spring trends, enjoy and most of all enjoy the Wedding!!
