What to wear to a Christmas Wedding

You’ve been invited to a Christmas wedding. No-one said you have to dress up as Mary Christmas (in fact, please don’t), but what to wear to a Christmas wedding? It’s gonna be very cold, possibly wet and you don’t want to be shivering or slip sliding your way around the big day. Here are some ideas…
Coats for a Christmas Wedding
You will need a coat, unless your ceremony and reception are being held in the same location and you can safely dump your old anorak in the cloakroom when you reach the venue.
What about this Limited Collection Double Breasted Sparkly Coat from M&S? (30% off online right now!)?

Or what about the Indigo Cape Style Coat (pictured above) in camel or black from Reiss, Kate Middleton’s favourite? At £275 it ain’t cheap, but it sure is beautiful.
Dresses for a Christmas Wedding
You want something pretty, but you want something warm. What to do?
L.E. Bouquet dress from Hobbs, down from £199 to £110. It’s pretty and feminine without being too summery.

Elysee from L.K. Bennett is made of wool and is just…heavenly!

Or what about the stunning Slinky Maxi Dress from Miss Selfridge. Perfect if you’re going for something glamourous (and don’t have to cross any fields to get to your wedding). Beautiful and good value at £45.

Any more suggestions ladies?
